All About The iPad

Just a list of the apps I wish would find their way to the iPad, sooner rather than later. I’m somewhat surprised we’re still waiting for them.

In no particular order:

Apple Remote: A fantastic app crying out for the big screen treatment. Wondering if the rumours of the new Apple TV have any bearing on the absence of this?

Tumblr: Yes, the iPhone app works fine but we really need to some heavy duty blogging tools for the iPad. A nice easy way to include graphics in blogposts would also be welcome.

SquareSpace: ditto. And if they could include support for approving and managing comments, that would be brilliant!

Spotify: I’ll give them a let on this one as it’s not really useful on the iPad until we get iOS4 but just have it ready - OK

Twitter: Must be out any day now (to the detriment of Tweetie for the Mac). Not too bothered as OsFooRa HD for the iPad is doing a pretty fine job as my Twitter client for now.

They are the immediate ones that spring to mind. Not forgetting iMovie and iLife but I suppose Apple will release them when ready.
