EyeTV on the iPad

Elgato have just released an update to their iPhone application for the EyeTV client to run natively on the iPad. More information on the Elgato website
The app has been redesigned to use the extra real estate of the iPad screen and will stream your live or recorded programmes to your iPad wirelessly over 3G or WiFi.
As well as playback, the application allows you to set recordings remotely as well.
If you have a Turbo.264 HD USB device, the app supports “adaptive streaming” to ensure the best quality picture.
Kudos to Elgato for making the app a universal app so if you’ve already bought the iPhone version (£2.99), the iPad version is a free upgrade.
